This was a totally unexpected and very exciting email to receive (apologies for mentioning Christmas in March but just too exciting not to share):
‘We wanted to contact you to let you know that we have chosen your charity as one of the 3 charities we will be collecting donations on behalf of this Christmas season. In our Fantasy Land building we have a Wishing Well for customers to make donations into as they walk around, at the end of Christmas this money is then collected and split between our three chosen charities.
You were nominated by several members of our office team as a local charity who means something to them, your name was then drawn during our most recent office meeting.
It is a pleasure to be able to support you and the work your team does this year.’
